Sorry to be harsh but the title of the page does not go with the overal look of the site. I would probably lose that gradient background.

How do you do it gradiently to begin with? And I thik it looks great, I will admit your logo at the top's bright compared to everything else. Consider changing that

I'm assuming that by hand-coded you mean that you did some slight modifications to phpBB templates?
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

Yeah, I consider hand coded where you actually wrote it from scratch, you used phpBB. My old site was hand coded, I did it all from scratch with XHTML, but my new one uses Mambo, which is an awesome open-source CMS.

5/10 A lot of people cannot pull off the black look. You're one of them. It's too dark but you don't have enough non-dark elements to make it look good. The top graphic is too big and WAY too much of a contrast.

Lime green and blue on black background SUCKS

I couldn't even read the text because my eyes were trying to jump out of my skull so they could find cover.

Also on a more constructive topic, where is your no frame support?

Personally I'd get rid of the iframe and use tables, but thats just me
