    Red face New Internet protocol!!!!

Here it is!! The brand spanking new protocol that "will make existing dsl lines look lethargic". Supposedely we should start using it in a couple of years. Kind of excited, haven't started network programming yet but curious as to what kind of changes will be there. Very excited. Let me know what you guys think about it. Especially if you've done networking.

    This is fine

Injong Rhee, associate professor of computer science at North Carolina State University, said BIC can achieve speeds roughly 6,000 times that of DSL and 150,000 times that of current modems. While this might translate into music downloads in the blink of an eye, the true value of such a superpowered protocol could be a real eye-opener.

    you're dreaming.

But the technology is impressive. Last year my school participates in some experiment were they send some HUGE amount of data from Chicago to somewhere in Europe...the results were staggering!

Well they did say the planned on using it in a couple of years. I'm just curious how that will change networking - on the part of the developer.
