    Nice to see the board back on-line, I was getting really bored.
    So, just courious, what are the new server specs?

    Code:
    while(cboard.down()) {
      if(!vbf.hasposts() && !galahtech.hasposts() && !codeguru.hasposts()) {
        getangry();
      }
    }
    And I got angry often...

    Thx for the fix, this now seems to be a lot faster too.

    For some strange reason, while the board was down I decided to write a 300-line program in assembly language. Part of me kept crying out "NO! IT'S NOT PORTABLE!" but sank back into obscurity as I kept flicking through my assembly language book with an evil glint in my eye.

    Now that the board's back*, however, the lowest of lowest level urges in me are repressed once again and all is safe. Thanks.

    *It might also have had something to do with the fact that the program didn't work and I couldn't figure what was wrong with it, but pride hurts...

    Really. A search for cornedbee on the web returns only me and a truncated link to a cornedbeef recipe.

    I was forced to go to DevShed, where there's a post every couple days. It's great to be back here. Let's never have downtime again, please
    I was forced to go on usenet. Have I ever said how much I hate usenet?

    Well now that i can post again (lame validation issues):

    Over the downtime i created a backup board in case something like this happens again. Its not VB, its phpbb because its free lol. Should cprog ever go down again (large gasp here), we will all have a place to meet at until the issue is resolved, thus preventing loss of communication and programming help. The board is managed mainly by myself and axon, but kermi also has admin privlages on it.

    Should the board become something we come to rely on i will move it to a liquidweb account and purchase a better forum software such as VB. There is also a .com in the works but my bank is disputing the charges on my card so im still trying to get it approved. So surf over, see it in its un-finished format, and bookmark it just in case. The link is also in my signature. The more peple bookmark it the less people will be without cprog in a downtime.
