Damn I'm mad. I resized my Windows partition and set up more Linux swap space. My partitions went to hell. I just reinstalled with full Linux but damn!

I guess I should consider myself lucky that I was able to modify the partitions at all without losing data, even if I was only able to partion off less than 2 GB for Linux on a 40-GB hard drive (with Windows XP factory installed).

I once tried to remove the Linux partition from my hard drive since I wasn't really using it, partition magic didn't finish the job, Windows would't boot, so I had to use Linux for some time, no real problem, except I couldn't get my modem to work :(
That should theach you, Windows and Linux should always live in different hard drives, and keep them as far away as possible! :D
