If I were you, I'd be scared. Teachers have a special gift for humiliating students. They are much smarter than you and hold much more power. Be on guard.

Just like I'm the only person in my state who happens to be a Yankees fan, I now think I am the only person in the world (or these forums at least) who actually LIKES Java .

That is either going to go one of 2 ways.

1) Your teacher sees your point clearly and agrees, laughing it off and giving you a nice little smiley face on your code.

2) Your teacher is a Java zealot, doesn't understand C++, and will dock you 5-10 points minimum for including "unnecessary comments".

Let's hope it turns toward #1.

Because we all know comments increase executable size and reduce the speed of a program.
