Help me think of name for Bassett Hound

We are getting a bassett hound pup this weekend and I am stumped for a name. I thought it was going to be male and I had a bunch of great names for him, but just found out this morning that its going to be female and my mind is drawing blanks... any ideas?? Basically I'm looking for something that would be a perfect name for a bassett hound (a pic of one of the litter is below), but nothing cutesy or obviously a dog's name, and I tend to go for famous names like historical figures or literary figures but that isn't set in stone if I hear a good one. Help!

I liked Sappho, but unfortunately for me my girlfriend has already named our future (many years down the road) St. Bernards Plato and Sappho, so she won't let me use it.

Yes, I know, my entire life is planned out already, I'm just along for the ride...

Well, I have two dogs. One's name is sherlock, the other is patches(how unoriginal eh? who gives $$$$ - I didn't name it) anyways, I call them both 'dog' anyways.
