Assembly forum

I've been lookin around for some community to discuss assembly programming - but the only forums I can find are lame tree structure forums I was wondering if it would be such a crime if cprogramming got an assembly sub forum? After all - c reduces to assembly in the long run , kinda...

Certainly it could benefit some of us a little. I've been wanting a place to share some of my asm code (For the 68k motorolla processor)..

Any way, my suggestion is waving in there air.
c++->visualc++->directx->opengl->c++;
(it should be realized my posts are all in a light hearted manner. And should not be taken offense to.)

Whatever

This forum isn't here for people to complain about other forums. Get back to the topic at hand or the thread gets deleted. I'm going to trim the rubbish from this one anyway, so don't be suprised when it shrinks slightly
When all else fails, read the instructions.
If you're posting code, use code tags:
/* insert code here */
Of course there are assembly forums out there, but some people like to stay in familiar territory. You get kind of familiar with a forum, and some people don't like to go to different ones if it is not necessary.

No, really, you suck at searching the web. Check programmersheaven.com for chrissakes.

Also, you were offered a fairly active vB alternative with FD, which is also populated with many "familiar" people from here, and you turned it down. Beggars can't be choosers, KTHXDIE.

Also, jeebus, I've never heard "I can't use these forums because they're not pretty enough for me" before. A valuable source of info is a valuable source of info. Somebody should call the whhhaaaaaambulance for you.

Red face

If I choose NOT to hurt my eyes looking at poorly formated information thats my business, not yours.

And who you need to call, is the "I don't have anything worth a damn to say, so I should shut the hell up"-bulance.

Get out of my thread.

what the hell is your problem dude?

first you blow off the suggestions we give you (btw, after looking at this thread, don't come to FD, we don't want you). Then you complain because "oh it hurts my eyes" well too darn bad, turn down the brightness on your monitor or just deal. Plenty of people use the alt.comp sites and that's black on white throughout the entire site. So, obviously if you've only found sites you don't like for whatever reason, then there must not be any sites out there.
