    Where did the term FOO come from?

    Does anyone know how the term FOO came into use?

    Most of the time it is used in conjunction with 'bar', and FUBAR means F***ed Up Beyond All Repair.

    Just something on this topic:

    In Russian, "foo!" means the same as "yuck!" in English...


    BTW, this is my first post since "11-29-2002 12:41 PM". Crazy, I haven't been here in so long
