    honeynets

Hey guys, I would just like to hear some comments/suggestions/(feedback) on honeynets. I will probably start on a honeynet project at my university, and am curious if it is worth it - analyzing hacked/cracked networks.

Any feedback will be appreciated...If you don't know what a honeynet is check this site: http://project.honeynet.org/

    cheers,

It depends on what you want to accomplish. If you're just wanting to learn about the hacker techniques it might be easier to setup a lab and learn from that.
