    The point isn't about contradicting yourself, or non-conforming just to fit in. It's about being who you are. If you conform you can't be yourself, you can't express opinions contradictory to the group. Progression is impossible. I think i would hold out from conforming. Like that guy in 1984...what was his name?

    I would choose to be unlike, as long as it was based on my actions as to wether I was unlike-better or unlike-worse.
