Program to help you read faster

Hey,

I spent a few hours last nite making this program which 'might' help people to read faster. It basically reads a text file and displays all the words in the same place in order. You will know what i mean when you try it out.

Please try out the program and tell me if it can really speed up reading speed of some people.

Yes, that will help people. It looks similar to other speed reading programs I've seen. However, it would be good to change the slow-fast slider so that you could tell how many WPM you were reading.




It would also be good not to use Visual Basic :p :rolleyes: ;) :D :cool:

I'm still learning windows programming in C, and i want to make something quick, that's why i used vb. Personally, i don't really like it, but it suits well to something of this kind.

I know i know, you can just tell it's vb by the buttons right?

Actually, I could tell by the DLL included in the zip :P

edit: the ---blank line--- thing gets kinda messed up when you go to more than one word per view.

I can read really fast, it's just that I forget it by the time I get
to the end of the page. Have a program that'll help me with
that? Or a pill?
