I was just wondering who uses PalmOS handhelds? I'm about to buy one for 250. It is going to be Sony PEG-SJ33. It got MP3 on it! Besides, Documents to go sounds pretty cool too. But then there are games, so, does anyone have a game that they enjoy playing on their Palm who is on this board?

I don't have a palm. Don't plan on getting one. Rather have a laptop.

I cut all the skin off of my palms after I sniffed a bunch of gas. How's that for an answer to your mis-titled thread?
I don't have a palm, I have a laptop, and I don't need to stick it in my pocket because I don't need to take it with me everywhere...
Palms are limitted, and I think you will have to use glasses after using it for a while!
Plus, laptops are much better for coding than Palms are.

i have a Palm. i dont use it that much anymore but it was ok back in the day. (2 yrs ago) sim city and casino games are fun on the mighty palm but id rather have a laptop.
if you want a day timer than a palm is the way to go. (who wants to boot up an OS to check their schedule) if you want games and functionality, get a laptop.

I say get a color-screen cellphone. My friend has one that can even play limited 3D(?) games, and besides which, he can use it to phone people. Now, you can't say that you can hold a laptop or gameboy advance to your ear and make a phonecall with it :DQuote:

I have a Palm... (m130)... it's running with Palm OS v.4.1
no, you cannot create a backround (without a hack, if one exists).
I find it easier (and cheaper) than a laptop...
good things:
if you buy a keyboard for it, it's almost as good as a laptop for entering information
smaller and easier to carry around
faster for quick references
ports for bigger software (word,excel,etc.)
different programming (it's a palm)
can use/view stuff on a SD card.
bad things:
falls in puddles (completely submerged in small puddles ;))
falls out of pockets
limited space (7.7MB)
no backround
not as customizeable as a desktop/laptop
