You shouldn't say something like this without offering proof. What about history books makes them bad? And what's wrong with diversity?

my old history book had less than a page on washington but more or less a complete chapters on every one else revolutions(French, latin, commey, nazi, some nationalism(like indian’s)).

basically not a lot of american history. we should learn the past, but theres none of our past. if the authors of the text book have to be one sides they could of at least mentioned the us more times.

with the diversity part, i was just poking fun of the people that like todays textbooks. they want “diversity”, which means nothing american, since its not nice to say.

Not to go horribly off of the off-topicness, but you realize that you're 14, right? And you're probably just about to go into highschool? I'm going into my junior year and I'm just starting American History. See, all of the other history is a little bit on X country, a little bit on Y country...then you get an entire class for American History, so if anything you learn more about that than all of the others.

I'm somewhat proud of that fact It's not often that these "derailments" can gather such steam but when you have the blessings of a mod (thanks GC) it becomes possible.
