    Bizarre question of the year

    How many handles should their be on a ship's helm?

    I'm designing a logo for my program, and I'm the kind of person who keeps the icons on their desktop in alphabetical order.

    4, or 8, or 16, or 32...

    The handles were/are set to the compass points. Bigger the wheel, more compass points.

    Alright, thanks. I was hoping for an 8 - it's easy to draw on a image program.
