hey, anyone out there on the cboard play SOCOM u.s. navy seals for PS2 online? if so, what servers do you normally play on and what is your name??

i usually play on Canada West, and my SOCOM name is 'Stratovarius'

for those that dont play.... you should! its a great online game.

i dont like fps or shooter games that much on console, the controls get wacky...until i get used to them which takes a while. i heard socom sucked though...buggy and too many dickheads playing

you do get the odd cheater but they always get voted off pretty quick. the controlls are a little odd at first but once you get used to them its great. i think the game is well done, havent encountered any major buggs yet.

FP shooters suck on Console systems. Ive alwyas like the way they run on puter.. but then the last concole system I had was a SNES

SOCOM is not an FPS. its a third person chase cam. (although you can zoom in with a scope and its FPS like)

FP shooters do just fine on consols.. But the AI never seem to be too smart. Why would you stand facing a courner. It's a good way to get your head blown off Anyhow SOCOM probably would do better on a computer.. You can't forget about the blue screen of death though.
