    Who here golfs?

As part of my strategic investment plan, I have decided to buy lottery tickets. (one per week)
Now, when I when the 'big one' I want to golf around the world. So if you golf, would you be so kind as to please tell me of your favourite course in your state/country, whatever.

In Ontario, it has to be Glen Abbey.

    Thanks

you would have to p;ay pebble beach and st. andrews of course.

the nicest course i've played was Congressional near D.C. it kicked my arse, but my buddy brandon (his dad's a member) shot a 68. he's a real golfer...

I haven't played in a few years, but I love the game. Courses
are sprouting up all over the place in Monmouth County, where
I live. My best game was a 103 . I still play Links
    on my computer.

Man, I hate golf. My friend taught me years ago and I sucked so bad the first time I played (and still suck). *curses the game of golf*

Hehe, the age of the US is less than my score...

You should see my drive! 300+ yards!

. . . too bad my slice is so bad the ball usually lands two fairways over. If I could only straighten it out
    Something's fishy here.

I suppose it is only a matter of time before current theory is modified to include the force that attracts golf balls to water into the universal scheme of things.

    >>whats golf?

Its a sport where rich people get to smack a small ball with metal sticks repeatedly while wearing horrid looking clothing.

Oh come on MFC, any reasonably worded search with google will tell you it is a car made by VW!

It's a shame so many of you hate golf. I think it's alot like programming, you will never master it (unless you shoot an 18, I suppose) but for some reason, it always draws you back, there's always more to learn.
Also, either your boss, or your boss's boss probably plays, so if you can play, it is a definite advantage.
Personally I try to play about 2 times a week during the season and I can beat my boss BUT his boss is damn good (about a 7 handicap).

    <You should see my drive! 300+ yards!<
If only you could use that power for good instead of evil!

I can put it out there, about 270, 290 on a REAL good day, but it's consistently straight, it's my long irons that ........ me off.

    Have a nice day

Love the game, but still suck at it - I've never really played at any big name courses, but there's a really nice one called Centennial Acres about 15 minutes from my house.

As for the driver paradox - I just don't use 'em - gimme a 2 iron, baby.
