Yep!! And whats the exchange rate at the moment? It fluctuates about $2.20 - $2.40 to the pound doesn't it? When I went to Canada last year I couldn't believe how there was no such thing as a 'small car'. Over here it's essential for most people to run an economical car just to keep the cost of running it to a minimum.

I guess, then, London doesn't see too many tank-sized SUV's roll down its streets obstructing the view of other drivers and being a general nuissance. If it's one thing that peeves me about the roads and cars around here in the U.S., it's definitely the SUV's with blinding headlights and obstructing heights.

If more people drove economical cars, gas would be cheaper for me!

Did you read my message or you have an airhead. I have explained to you about this already that The Truth is true, if Saddam truely has no MDW, then he could challenge anyone from any country come to his country to point it out if his country has MDW, and he must let his people freedom to disclose about this issue. Can he do that? If he is innocent, why he dont do this?
Lie or not, Saddam know himself clearly. I challenge him swear to the World that he definitely has NO MDW. Can he swear? I bet he can't because the truth he has MDW. He can hide this to people around the world, but he definitely never hide from the truth.

As I talked before, I really hate war, I want peace comes to every human being in this world and make the world become a small house of this universe regardless of color, race, religion because all human being has the same RED blood regarless outer.
But how we can live peaceful if terrorists day by day keep finding a mean to attack us.

    >Especially now Saddam wants to keep his weapons and in some >way he has right to. If you are offended, then you have the >right to defend. Just thinking, in some way Bush acts like a good >muslim: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

if you say so then I dont think you deserve to talk about peace.
A peace-lover never has the statements above in his/her mind.

    >As from what I regularly read in the newspapers and see on the >news is that terrorists don't get their weapons from people like >Saddam. They get them from the Russians. The Russian maffia >sells Russian army weapons which they get because some >Russian soldiers see it as a way to get money.

If you are easy to believe the news or newspapers(or propaganda news) without personal judgement and evaluate, then I dont think you are a SOFWARE ENGINEER as you advertized yourself. If you are really a true software engineer, then you think you should know Software Life Cycle development.
To make a unambigous requirement, it must gone thru a software process of REFINEment or FILTERing. I am not a software engineer, but at least I know those basically concepts.

You just read the newspapers without consideration, evaluation filtering and just present it here to justify your point. This is very
    shallow.

That report did finally explain to me why Iran was in the 'Axis of Evil'.

    >>It's much more france and russia who are responsible for IRAQ's state - half of IRAQ's military arms are french, like fighters and anti-aircraft systems - the other half russian.<<

    Totally untrue.
You realy should check your facts.
I suggest a search into the 'US Chemical and Biological Warfare-Related Dual-Use Exports to Iraq' 1992 by Donald Riegle (chairman).
Look at the 771 export orders from January 1985 to August 1990. Some nasty stuff hey OSR.

NOTE :: The shipments to Iraq went on even after Saddam Hussein ordered the gassing of the Kurdish town of Halabja, in which at least 5000 men, women and children died. The atrocity, which shocked the world, took place in March 1988, but a month later the components and materials of weapons of mass destruction were continuing to arrive in Baghdad from the US.

dp munky>> love how all you people from other countries are so quick to go against anything we americans say to point out how dumb we are and then not inform us of how things are.<<

Actually we bother to find these things out about the world we live in! Do you?

Or are we supposed to tell you everything you need to know? I thought you relied on CNN for those half truths.

personally i dont watch CNN, and 2nd NO youre not supposed to tell us everything we need to know (god knows you'd get off on that) but dont come down on me all high and mighty because i wasnt aware of something, AND THEN have the nerve not to tell it "the way it really is"

3rd some of us do our homework but ya know on this VAST place we call the internet, there are 100 different sources for 1 thing, w/100 different number for the same thing

"Oh, I wish we could have a world like that - but remember Sept. 11, other ppl's foreign wars are brought to bear on us - they don't keep it in their own backyard"

    ........

Don't you think that the anti-American zealotism that fueled the Sept. 11th atrocity is ATLEAST partially due to the American government's foreign policy/rhetoric during recent history?

Ive said it be4 but anyway:

These days if we say mass destructive weapons you think about Saddam and Iraq.
What about the US having a MDW at 30-40 miles from my home??? No one seems to care about those things up here.

PS: i dont live in The US (i live in Belgium) so go figure why there are MDW in my "backyard"!!!

    >If you are easy to believe the news or newspapers(or
    >propaganda news) without personal judgement and evaluate,

I do evaulate the news I read, here and see. I do evaluate the stories I hear in the city about the Russian and Yugoslavian maffia and came to the conclusion that a huge amount of weapons they have and sell is from the armies of the countries they are from.

    >I think you should remove -Karl Marx- from your sig, how would
    >u like it if I put hitler quotes in my sig...

I wouldn't mind, if you want to put quotes of Hitler in your sig, be my guest. Why should I bother if you identify yourself with the ideas of Hitler?

But Karl Marx is not Hitler, you should read something about Marx and communism before posting such crap. I am not a communist, but a socialist, which is something different. Also, there has never been a real communistic country. The former USSR, Cuba, China, North Korea, that are no communistic countries, it are state-capitalistic countries. The difference: state-capitalism is about spreading poorness equally on the nation. Just a very few, usually those involved with the government, are rich. That is why it is called state-capitalism. The state-capitalistic countries are bad, just look at the situation of the people in those countries. The Netherlands is a socialistic country, especially now when the PvdA (Party of the Workers) is in the government. And most Dutch people are quite rich compared to those in the state-capitalistic countries.

Socialism is about helping those people who have a hard live, it is the basis of the Dutch society: solidarity. The rich pay much more than the poor to support the poor, that is just one of the aspects of a socialistic society. A socialist doesn't mind people being rich, in fact, but a socialist does mind when people are very poor and supports them. This solidarity made the Netherlands one of the richest countries in the world.

    >PS: i dont live in The US (i live in Belgium) so go figure why there
    >are MDW in my "backyard"!!!

There were also US mass destruction weapons here at the city where I live. To protect us, they told us.

thats like being a jury member in a trial for a woman that got raped, looking her right in the face and saying "well, what where you wearing?"

    >>i dont live in The US (i live in Belgium) so go figure why there are MDW in my "backyard"!!!

i guess if you dont want protection from the US(i know WMD arent really "protection") the i guess well just let everyone run over you like they did 50 year ago.

"state capitalism" as a serious term to discribe government oppression of civilians doesn't make sense. sorry chief.
