doesn't work all the time, but does work some of the time, and it gets kindof freaky when the letter is correct 8 times in a row.

The simplest solution to finding out how it works is to admit that it does not.

It's a simple math problem. That all the numbers are set to be a certain symbol after there digits are takin away. But your thinking, if thats so, howcome the predicted image changes? Well the key, is that each "again" the images are rearranged creating the illusion that its predicting different images, however it is not.

(it should be realized my posts are all in a light hearted manner. And should not be taken offense to.)

it works because every number minus the sum of its digits equals a multiple of nine...

look at the numbers 9, 18, 27, 36, etc... they all have the same symbol.
I came up with a cool phrase to put down here, but i forgot it...

Here is a much better one.

We figured it out too, just as ... did, it is always a multiple of 9 including 0, and it does work all the time. The trick they do is to change the symbols all the time, so one time every multiple of nine is an X and then next time a O for example.

Its pretty neat esp when you dont know what the hell is going on.
