wow, how many people are they going to find that have some kind of .mp3 d/led that was d/led from p2p sharing. I don't exactly agree with them searching personal computers, but even if they do, what are they going to do with all the students. I mean, there are just too many.

lol, one student had 500 mp3s...I have 1254 totaling 4.30 GB (4,619,681,792 bytes) :P ....erm...um....I legally purcased all of the cds of course...

I think the whole premise of people seraching other peoples computers is lame...

but are they campus comps, or are they personal property? school lockers are school property.

edit: I believe the article said all comps. Does this include student's or just school's?

    Personally...

It looks like they want to search the students accounts... Not their personal computers. Plus, i'm certain that their 'Computer Experts' aren't too educated if they found a students webpage with links to MP3 files and didn't know where the files were stored.. Seriousely its pathetic... they probably use 'Find Files or Folders'

But I guess that someone could always remove their personal computer if they are afraid of it being searched illegaly... and if they try to stop you without reasonable suspicion you are entitled to self defense and a likely a trial before they are allowed. Plus your still allowed to make backups of your own property, so they can't do a thing.

Also, I think most people would rather lock their doors and load their guns before allowing their government to search their property for media. I think that their so-called 'Experts' population would decrease rapidly... I like the sound of that. (We could make a coalition of Hunters who remove the evil scum, who enforce the search and cease of media!, We could make initiations of 5 kills then your in. Then we could have a score board to make it a sport.) I doubt it would ever get that bad.
