If the people that have used it could post their opinions and experience, it would be great.

My experience in it: I looked a book in the library to see what the code looked like. It reminded me of java, and I thought I would program with it eventually, just never got around to it.

Please explain some of the votes! I'm curious to hear why some people don't plan on experimenting with C#.

I was supposed to use it, but some plans fell through... I don't even know if it's that great... and there's not a lot of development support for it..

Hah...I remember that thing. The code couldn't have been more than 100 or so lines.

I still mess with it every now and again, but it's never been able to hold my attention for too long.

I've never used C# and I probably will not use it very soon, if I will ever use it. Not that I don't like it, but I don't need it for my work and I already have too less time to learn the other things I want to learn.

Ive never been a big microsoft fan. C#(Sharp) is ment to kill Java, why would I plan to help microsoft kill another language by using it?

Maybe you should try it and see if actually deserves to kill it instead of being a closed-minded retard.

Even if its a poor language, I'd like to at least try it out before I crap on it. That wont happen for a while, since im learning Java and C++ right now.
The only good thing about freezing beyond feeling in the final Nordic ski race was that I couldn't feel that tumble I did going about 30 mph, maybe more.
On the other hand, not feeling any part of my body for 30 minutes was scary, especialy for my manhood.

    Exclamation

Microsoft is pushing c# pretty heavily, and a lot of people's predictions is that it will take over in the front end design of many applicitions because of all the built in libraries to support windows programming.

From what I heard, it's still too slow to take over back end programming, but ms wants to c# to take over both java and c++, but that's not likely in the near future.

Anyways, it beats having to use vb
