    Smaller XBox

at e3, microsoft will unveil the new "xbox lite" which is rumoured to be small enough to haul around in pickup trucks and some of the larger station wagons. One executive has leaked the following photo from microsoft's R&D lab:

*sigh*.. Simple tricks like that would probably work on a soap-opera discussion board, but not at cprog

Just look at the lighting, you can tell from the chrome of the car generally where the sun is. Then the Xbos... unless it has the ability to bend light, I don't buy it.

Well, considering that it basically is a PC, just thank MS that it isn't PC sized. My X-Box fits very nicely in my entertainment center, while my PC wouldn't fit without a hack saw

in fact the X-Box is really big comparing to other consoles like PS2 GameCube, etc...
but that's not the only problem with it... the other problem is that there aren't many good games for it, where there are many great games for PS2.
    none...

Console size doesn't reall matter does it?
None of the console are easily transportable anyway.

Odd it's microsoft again who's the target of prankers...
Gamecube gets smashed by the XBox at ease.

The Gamecube's easy to tote around - mine even came with a carrying case. Even you don't have a case, it's got that nice handle on it.

I don't own any of the new consoles so I might be wrong but is there any real problem with the size of any of them? I mean it's not like you are gonna take it down the shops with you. If you do wanna take it to your mate's on the odd occasion, provided it fits on the front seat of your car (which they all do) then you've no problem.

In that case the XBox would be easily to move as well, The only
problem would be its weight, and the box is damn heavy.

when my dad got a conversion van he needed to buy a game system to place in it and i talked him into ps2 over the xbox for two reasons:

    1) Size
    2) Game titles

I love the ps2, and now when hes not using the van i have it : )

Halo's overrated as hell, Half-Life's what, 5 years old?, and DOA3 stinks.
