Face, how long have you worked at your job? My guess is around 3 months, because I used to be the sameway about my job around that time period. I've worked at my job for around 11 months now, and I'm pretty immune to anything that can happen so nothing really bothers me anymore. So once you get to know everything about your job it will be as much of a big deal to you. Stay in there because I know just how annoying customers can be sometimes.

Btw, I work at mexican food restaurant that has a fast food pace to it. It's hard to explain.

Been working there for a year (approx.)

    >> Sounds to me like you're a crappy worker, face - hopefully someday soon one of your managers realizes that.

Yes, I am a crappy worker. But there are seriosuly worse workers at my work than me.

What i'd do is make a list of all the complaints and categorize them by stupidity. You can collect stupid comments much like another would collect stamps.

That would make the job much more fun.

Well, then I don't know what your problem is. Have you thought about getting a job at an electronic store or something like that?

    mexican food !!! ... yummm.
Yeah, our food is so good; I love it. But it's not exacly the most healthiest food for ya.

Try coming over to Alaska to work on a fishing boat in the summer...in three months you can make several thousand dollars, plus you get to see the sites of Alaska, things few ever see.

Face_master...your 15? I thought you were in your early 20's...well, that explains a lot however....

I used to work for UPS (United Parcel Service) "BROWN". They have a union - you start at $8.50/hr, .50 cent raise per year. If you take a test you can bump your pay an extra $1.00/hr. After 1 yr I was making $10/hr which wasn't bad for 19.

The only drawback was the job was manual labor - you have to load trucks from 5pm to at least 11pm most of the time we went to midnight or even 2am.

Here in America the grocery markets are all union so they pay pretty good. The only complaint I would make about your job is the pay, it sucks, the rest is a blessing - "trust me".

couple summers ago i got paid $75 for ripping off the roof of a house. It was kinda fun.

Hell if you guys complain about lifting 30lb boxes. . . damn!

thats nothing. try building a bob-wire(sp?) fence with you, your 12 year-old little brother, a ****load of 8 foot metal posts and a 45lb sledge hammer, around twenty acres. . . that's hard, and for **** for pay, and I had to do it if I wanted to continue to live in my house. **** It took me almost a week just to put the damn poles up then I had to **** with the wiring. most of you guys got it easy.

One more thing, when I had that JOB my worst enemy were these IDIOTS that were gas station mechanics. These have to be the most stupidest ppl on the planet - they would ship BLOWN OUT TIRES or just things that were obviosly trash but the reason they are really stupid is....

They would wrap 250 BOLTS -weighs 70lbs- and wrap them in a paper bag or brown paper wrapping to ship them. The thing would explode on the belts or it would CRUSH 10 other packages and then EXPLODE when you tried to load it. How can we wipe these ppl from the face of the EARTH pls help - and then don't ask about when they actually work on your car.

What happens when they work on your car? Couldn't resist...

What happens when a GAS STATION MECHANIC (MORON) works on your car - you shorten the lifespan of the CAR by about 2 yrs for every trip to that BASTARD.

Anyone else notice that lately the General Discussions forum has become a place where angry and depressed teenagers go to complain? I'm not saying that I don't take part in the pity party, but, you gotta admit, that when you step back for a moment and take a look at the threads lately, this is all really funny.
