I really don't think BinLaden has anything against Microsoft, I think that someone else who doesn't like Microsoft did it and got away with it because everyone thinks that Bin Laden or some Afghan is doing EVERY anthrax attack

Okay, now Sunday's newspaper (Sunday, October 14, 2001) says that after a third round of tests the material in the envelope sent to the Microsoft Corporation office in Reno, Nevada, is actually anthrax.

We programmers know what to do now:

An attack against one software development group (even if it is the Microsoft Corporation) is an attack against software developers everywhere.

The next question: Are any of these anthrax attacks actually being caused by the various Islamic extremist terrorist groups? The U.S. government has not said al-Qaida, the Taliban government of Afghanistan, or any other terrorist organization is involved in any of these anthrax attacks last time I checked. I wonder if all this coverage of terrorism and biological warfare has given certain groups (e.g., those who hate the tabloid press, those who hate the Microsoft Corporation, and those who hate that NBC news anchor) a cover for their attacks. It's possible.

Plz give me a good reason why any terrorists would want to send anthrax (a treatable) disease to Microsoft? Are they trying to bring down the US economy? If so, they are doing it the wrong way. It would probably help the economy.

I wonder if Bin Laden is mad that his Windows 95 crashes on his 486 with 4mb Ram. I could almost hear him cursing "Damn that white devil with those corny glasses and cheap haircut"

I agree with Cruxus' point here:

I thought the same thing; maybe a big coincidence since the militant Muslim groups around the world dislike Westerners and their influence, not to mention all the stuff they find that goes against their teachings in the Quran: tabloid presses stories full of sex, naked women; greedy Americans (Microsoft founder Gates is the wealthiest person in US), and tv shows and media show sex, violence and crap all the time.

I'll use my 4x4 if I have to bust into the building where the coward is hiding out. He's so scared that he is now using 'unregistered' to make posts. The truth is that it's just a matter of time before the doctors are surrounding his bed with resesitators.
