I have to ask: what is Darkbasic?

Try not.
Do or do not.
There is no try.

Darkbasic looks cool, but is there anything of this sort for c++, just curious?

What are you TALKING about? DarkBasic isn't a BASIC add-on...it's a programming language unto itself. A cruddy one at that...
Yes, I was joking in my first post.
Gays can't love like real people

Very funny. VERY funny!

Why is it that the most powerful games are written in C/C++ sometimes with a smattering of assembly-- real works of talent, art, and quasi-science-- and sell for about $50 each; But some TRUE PIECE OF [scatalogical reference here censored by CARNIVORE] that was written in JAVA by brain-dead monkeys at Lucent, Avaya, Agilent, Nortel, or others, costs a telecom company $4 million per copy!!!?!????
Just [sexual reference here censored by CARNIVORE] nonsense!!!
It is not the spoon that bends, it is you who bends around the spoon.
Uh? Because C/C++ is both fast and powerful as opposed to some other languages?Originally posted by Sayeh

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
There are actually programs that sell for $4 million per copy?
But anywho, a $50 game made by 'Id' will sell 2 million coppies. A
progam made by a brain-dead monkey probably won't sell more
than 10. They need to charge more in order to make their money

Staying away from General.
that's the funniest thing i've heard since 1:02 PM ESDT today. They use John Carmack
real programmers use real vacuum tubes to make real games...real.
I don't know anything about about ColoredBasic but as far as I know all PC games are created on C++ using either OpenGL library (Quake) or DirectX stuff.
C++ rulez!!!
