I am aware of your kindergarten tricks. I was once a member but have since grown up. I wish that your parents would reconsider letting you use the computer. Adults have had enough of your bull****.

do whatever you want, but normally, these spammers hide or mask their e-mail address, so you won't be able to send anything to them just by hitting Reply-to

and writing a virus wouldn't do no good, I don't thina that a spammer would be that stupid and download an attachment from the spamee.

There is a law (in the USA) that lets people sue spammers, I've heard it from people who have done it and have gotten good amounts of cash

You can write a virus with C? Not that I want to, but my curiousity is now aroused.

well yes you can... but they are not talking about virii in this post... they just want to make malicious code that kills the spammers comp... you can write a true virii in c but it would not be a very good one... the best language for virii is ASM due to reasons of stealth...

Actually the main purpose I started this thread was to find out how the knew my e-mail address and what can I do about it (how to hide it).
I was wondering what else they knew about me(like IP and stuff)

I do not have the knowledge to write a virus in C. the only thing I can do is make a .exe file that does some damage (ex. Delete some files).

    >>they just want to make malicious code that kills the spammers comp

I do not! I want to get rid of them in a legal way

Drive down there in the dead of night and destroy all their computers? I'll run a whois query to get their adress for you

Sure it's not INCREDIBLY legal but so long as you don't get caught...

You can write a virus in any language, Even BASIC! Most trojans are actually written in VB (Which is because its winsock functions are really easy).

Truly great viruses are written in ASM, though - control of the computer at the hardware level, with incredible speed and smaller file sizes; now that's something. I've always wanted to write a b*tch of an ASM virus that starts up with windows and then writes over critical parts in memory, effectively crashing the computer. I wouldn't want to unleash it, just want to write it in order to test my skill as an ASM programmer...

    Ken, you're an ASM programmer?

  9. #39
    hey Ken,

If I’m not mistaken, you where looking for some asm tutorials a while ago. Which one did you use (or books) and which compiler? Do you use the inline asm of VC++

Reason I ask this is because I want to learn some asm myself
    BTW is it hard?

Yeah, I do ASM and C...I'm not so good in ASM as C but I'm still learning...

Uhh...maybe a month~2 ago I was looking for ASM tutorials. I got this book called "Assembly Language Step By Step second edition" written by Jeff Duntemann

and I visit programmersheaven.com (gasp!) every once in a while to check their ASM stuff (tutorials and forum)
