... it is a good day to die

While we probably could not all meet in person anytime soon, we *could* all meet in a chatroom (if timezones allow) and run a couple of deathmatches in various games - or if that's not your prefered method of wasting time, do any other multiplayer game. Or maybe even talk..

No, lets instead make a chatroom so that we can all study together and get MCSD and MCSE certifications!

I should already have these certifications or at least be able to take the tests but since I had a late start in computers in general I don't know enough to take these tests, although I just recently had Win2k installed on my computer. I don't know anything about networking or SQL server though.

I'll do that - it'll suck because I have dialup, but I'd try...

If someone else plays Everquest, we could start some sort of Cprogramming guild...

I'm pretty good at CS, but enjoy other mods for Half-Life better (spec. Opera and Day of Defeat)

Yeah, it's 56K - I guess I just need to play more action games online - I had always thought action games were choppy over anything that wasn't broadband.

    How about Tribes/Tribes 2?

The Tribes 2 engine only costs $100 to license? Eh, why?
The Quake III Arena engine is $300,000...
