I like a nice blank ( icon free ) workspace on my desktop, looks efficient. The fact that I can't find anything hidden in the depths of my hard drive I ignore though.

here's my linux one. my windows desktop is much more boring. i have a dilbert comic as wallpaper, but these things clutter the picture.

the box with the sniper expert there is live tv from my tv tuner. everything else should be self-explanitory.

//edit: aparently the interview wasn't live... saw that big ole' "Recording" text...

Yeesh ygfperson. You run that much in one workspace all the time, or were you just "posing" your applications for the shot?

I've got 8 workspaces set up as I don't like more than 3 apps in the screen at a time.

    >I don't know about everyone else, but I fake looking organized by creating a file on the desktop called STUFF and shoving everything but what I access regularly in that.

then what's the point in telling us? Hmmm?? Yeah that's what i thought ms "I have a yellow bird thing on my desktop"....humph

my desktop is an old win98se. heheheheh. not a big biggie or lotsof icons. something i find normal. i got like 3 lines of icons at all times. its mainly all html, fla, swf, php, exe, c, cpp, h files that i use all the time.

as for my organization purposes. i put most of the stuff that i know are gonna crowd my desktop in a folder usually names "All My Crud" or "All Stuff" or something of that nature. that folder contains around 300 things, and 40 folders.

pretty good for 2gigs of diskspace alotted. ;D
