Are you you?

I was sitting around yesterday thinking.
What if i were someone else? what if i were that person over there?
Is it completely random that my soul and this body met? Could I have been anyone? Or is my body merely an extension of my soul, one that would have always been this? Just thoughts to ponder....

Even if you were someone else, you would still be you, but in that other body, probably thinking what it would be like being the person you currently are...

i believe this falls under circular logic.

The reason i thought about this is because it kind of makes you step back from normal life...wonder how it came to be that you even exist, let alone that we have the power to weild the atom and the like. Very cool to think about, but it makes my head spin...too many questions with too few answers.

A-hem... Anyway... What was the topic again?

You know, this is kind of like the topic of, "What's it like after you're dead?" or, "What's it like before you're born?". We, as humans, or atleast some people, cannot comprehend the thought of nothingness. That's why alot of people believe there must be some sort of afterlife because they cannot accept the thought of nothingess. They are so used to registering everything as an interaction or some sort of memory that the thought of blank, null, void, or nothingness would drive them nuts, confused the heck out of them, or make their brain tilt.

Try it! Think about what it's like before you're born or after you're dead. Really think long and hard about "experiencing" absoluetly nothing. It'll turn your brain into a pretzel!
