Is "trolling" is against the rules? I'm not sure. It is annoying though. He does do things that cross the border quite often. He sent me obscenity filled emails one time when I criticized a post of his. That was fun. Standard trolling is an allowable offense. In fact it can be humorous. But he sometimes doesn't control himself. That is the only thing I would worry about.

Did somebody say he was at school? I doubt it.

Although he was a pain, You had to laugh at his sense of humour.

Sometimes he wrote some VERY funny stuff.

Yes I know, most of the time he spouted garbage
    Such is life.

I think it would be best for the mods to let him know he's on thin ice already/deal with it accordingly.
First of all, as always, he was warned via PM, that's a private conversation that occurred between him and a mod so I will not repeat it here. A person is normally only banned when their behavior is such that the mods cannot reasonably moderate him.

Also, trolling isnít always illegal on the boards, but many of the things that occur along with trolling are, like spamming, flaming, and bumping.

I will say that an outragously large number of posts(most of them saying the same thing) were deleted, and rightfully so, in under an hour and a half. No one is ever banned lightly. This was not a decision made in haste, nor is it necessarily permanent, that does not mean that he will be unbanned, that is a decision the mods, the webmaster, and I will make.

What has happened and whatever may, or may not happen is a decision that the mods will make. I will also add that I will not defend the descisions of the mods anymore (not that anyone is directly attacking them) The mods have been elected by the board and they do a great job. There is more information to this than the general public of the board knows, and it would be inappropriate for that knowlage to be publicly posted, both because it is not appropriate for the boards and because it could put some people in awkward positions.

If anyone has any further problems please PM me.

I would just like to point out that I am confident in the mods decisions and they will make decisions that are the best for the community. I appreciate all the hard work they do, in their FREE time. It truly is great to see an online, PRODUCTIVE, and HELPFUL community like this thrive out of people and their free offerings.

The only reason I said anything about reinstating, was because it's rare that I see anybody banned, and, also, I am not aware if Troll_King has been banned before or not.

Again, not questioning, just throwing a few comments and suggestions out there, that's all.

    - edit -
...and I _just_ realized, Troll_King was spelled, Troll_Kong in this thread's title.

Think I'm trying to smooch up?

When I posted the first comment about letting him in, I was totally unaware of what and why Troll_King was banned, then around the time of me posting, it was apparent. He's been on a rampage. So, I corrected myself in a new reply...which happened to be after Kermi3 replied. After he replies, I read his commenents, and well, there it is. He deserves it. His actions, were, uncalled for.

Ah well, too confusing, and not enough time.
Good job though mods, good job.

Heh - and to think I actually posted "Isn't it about time we ban Dean?" just moments before it happened! W00t!

Good job, Kermi. Can I have some candy from the backup bowl? That rascal Betazep has absconded with my sandwich.

    >> All bannings are IP bannings not user name bannings.

I could change my ip in a second and I could find a way to block it with my hardware firewall

    My 2 cents.
I agree. Troll_King has never offended me in any way; I don't know about you guys, but I found him considerably amusing.

guys, let go of the mutiny. let the mods do what they're doing, enforcing the rules. They have been overly patient with dean.
