    Protest the Berman Bill!!!

Berman is attempting to pass a bill allowing companies holding copyrights to stop p2p users as they see fit. Including hacking, attacking, etc. I don't see this getting passed, but voice your opinion!

You support vendor manipulation, so if this is the case where you are trying to support freedom, than that's too bad. You're out of luck. Your brain is not attached to your body.

    ride_or_die:
who did you send a letter to? what state do you live in? what did they say, exaclty? if you tried to e-mail berman himself, and you don't live in california, then he might've dismissed you because you're not part of his constituency.

And as Berman himself points out, these peer-to-peer networks have many legitimate, non-infringing uses.
    Have they?

I have the same feeling when it comes to downloading music/software. But i mean, u can't stop it so why think too much on it. The only time i consider "piracy" is when a company has a product i need that i honestly is seriously over priced. My first choice is always to purchase the product.

I LOVE to download FREE programs, but it's not RIGHT.
They are offering good programs, although expensive but GREAT
