>And my final thought- cracking and stealing software is not something to be glad about. If you like stuff to be free, use software that was meant to be free.
If someone works hard to write code and doesn't want to give it away, don't steal it from them<
do you think its write to charge a monthly/yearly lease for software?!!!??? who can afford this!!!!!!????!!
BTW: im not justifying it either...

Serious question (not to start an argument - just wanted clarification): What did you mean by this? "Apple their OS is more compatable" Compatible with what? Other Macs?
Also, is Mac's OS really open source? Where can we find the code?
> i beg to differ... but i will spare an arguement...
Fair enough - it's just semantics, anyways.
> why does MS still feel the need to rip of features from them??
Because it's they way everyone does everything! It's how business works! You learn from people and their mistakes and triumphs, and then capitalize or improve on them. It's not like Apple created the first GUI or anything. If you want to get real technical, everyone's stealing everything from the abacus, or the first person to count with rocks.
> WHEN THE HELL DID I INSULT THEIR PROGRAMMERS
Oh... I dunno...
Here:
> MS does not make decent software
Oh yeah, and here:
> VB is unstable
Here, too:
> Microsoft hs yet to write anything solid or stable..
Not to mention that pirating a piece of software might as well be a slap in the face to the developer.
>Linux is incabable of meeting my current needs
So you'd rather just .......... about why Windows and MS products are awful? What does MS's horrid program do that you need so badly that you'll keep using it?
> I DONT HAVE MONEY FOR A NEW COMPUTER!!
So reformat you current one and install Linux - no cost in reinstalling an OS - no new hardware. Cool, right?

its more hardware compatably than Win2k buddy thats a fact... if you'd like ill dig up a comparison article on it...
did you know MacOS can rund win2k in a window????
>Also, is Mac's OS really open source? Where can we find the code?
try the following...
http://www.apple.com
http://www.apple.com/macosx/tour/darwin.html
http://www.opensource.apple.com//

this is a management problem in my opinion... the programmers are responsible for their own code but if there not given time and resources to write good code or debug it then ITS NOT THIER FAULT!!!

yes, and i dont have money for a Mac...
