    Netscape 7.0

Has anyone else downloaded it yet? I just finished and my overall impressions are it loads pages a lot faster than the 6.x series and loads a little faster than the 6.x. I like the tab idea instead of opening more windows and i dont like the aim version it comes with and that theme i just plain never liked for no aparent reason.

I downloaded Opera 6.05, and it also comes with the tabs for the multiple windows. I really like that, one of its best features. It also loads a lot faster than IE. Im still running Netscape 6

I can guarantee IE, will come out with the tabs sooner or later.

I just downloaded it and the installer crashes with an Invalid Page Fault. Not a very nice way to get people to use your software if you ask me. But I'll be downloading it again sometime soon. I'm a big Netscape fan.

I'm happy to hear that it loads up faster. That was my only complaint was the startup time. Never had issues with pages loading slow, its always been lightening fast. ... I'll have to wait and see if I like the tabs...

Where's face_master when you need him! We've got a conspiracy to crack!

.... unless.... FACE_MASTER IS IN ON IT!

I got it, then it asks me to enter / register a screen name.

I decide what the hell, even though I do not use these things.

After I try multiple names inc 'qwerty123456' and 'AllTheNamesTaken' without getting one that is not in use it then tells me my email is being used too many times.

    Bugger them then.

Why does it give me a box to type this post in that is less than a quater of the available screen, making it hard to see what I have typed? Still, is safer than IE.

I should cross post this on my 'pet peeves' thread.

yeah, Netscape 7.0 is better and faster now.
It understands now better HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
It think, that in 2 or 3 years Netscape can be better, than Microsoft Internet Explorer.

But at this time its hard for Netscape, cause they were bought by AOL (-> I don't know, how stupid some people are and why they use AOL, when they have some high prices!!!!)

I use it now. So far I'm very pleased with 7.0, it is just as fast as IE was and the tab feature is most useful.
