This is a discussion on PIC Microcontrolers within the A Brief History of Cprogramming.com forums, part of the Community Boards category; Which of these 2 books would be best for me? I've no experience in PIC Microcontrolers, but I do in ...
I've learnt the PIC 16F84. Learning how the pic ticks should be easy (or not that hard) seeing that you have some experience in electronics.
The hard part would be the assembly (or C), IMO.
You could download tutorials on pic fundamentals.
Also, I was just wondering if you have a pic, and what kind of pic it is?
About the books, I suggest downloading tutorials rather.
I dont have a pic yet, i was going to learn it before spending money on the pics ... what tutorials would you recommend?
You first gonna have to know what PIC you're gonna buy, then you could do a google search for tutorials for that specific PIC.
I found that the pic16F84 was easy to learn and also found many tutorials and such using google.
