I'm happy with my degree, although it took me quite a while to find a job (at least a good job). Now I'm pretty happy as I enjoy my job as an IT developer. I would like to go back to school and get my master's or phd eventually though, and maybe add a degree in guitar at some point. I plan to become a professor later in life.

I have a B.S. in Computer Systems - computer science option, but I also have the requirements for a information systems option (without a COBOL class required) but my school only lets you have one officially.

NO kiddin.. That's what I'll be officially in less than a year

If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living? I'm still trying to decide what I can/want to do...
Nope I don't mind. I'm a software engineer working with embedded systems so I get exposed to hardware also. I'm also pursuing my Masters in Computer Science with a Software Engineering specialization. Yea I know, I'm pretty busy nowadays.
    Try not.
    Do or do not.

I'm considering going for my degree. If i do it will be in Computer Science. I'm already certified as an MCSE(Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and CISCO(i think i spelled it wrong :P). Alot of people are impressed cause i'm only 17(almost 18) but i don't think its really all that impressive...

I'm able to get my cert in the Administrative area of IIS/MYSQL/etc but i don't have the spare cash for those exams now. But as far as the Degree i want to major in CS.

I know, but by the time I realised that it was too late.....

I wanted a career that would give me a decent chance and wouldnt leave me broke.......hate being broke .....that was the priority at the time so I ran with it......

At least its giving me a chance to look at my future and decide where I want to go....much easier to plan your life when you dont have baillifs knocking on the door

First degree: Journalism. Didn't do me a whole lot of good.

Second degree: Computer Science. I get to use it in my current job and I'm having a blast.

Went to business school for a year to get an MBA, but dropped out because of my current job. If I get to the point where I need an MBA, I'll pick it up again.

I was not majoring in computer relative but now flash give me bread. I regret the days wasting for those rubbish in school.
