off topic
i know its off topic but i don't have any one else to ask.
This is how it is, i downloaded a zip file (now link is gone), and when unzipping - winzip reports errors. Please tell me how to fix this, (i have tried pkzipfix-didn't work) And one thing i am sure the file is fully downloaded(that is it was not dropped in the middls).

Think you might be out of luck here...
Pkzipfix has never worked for me... I think it's a scam personally.
Your best bet would be to search various web-search engines for the filename and try again.

tried about 13 ftp search engines, and yahoo etc. Can't find it anywhere? anybody
-
Maybe if you say what the file was, someone might have a more reliable source for it?
-
maybe it's your winzip that's screwing up. I'm sure you've used it before and ruled out that possibility, but I figured I'd at least mention it.
Are you sure it's a zip file? Sure it's not a .gz, .z, .tar or something like that?
-
Usually when you open a valid zip with a text editor , the first 2 chars in the file are "PK". If it doesnt have that then it may not be a zip.
I'm not sure if this is the case with TARs......etc.

This is the error that i receive
Error: invalid compressed data to inflate
-
that sounds like you're using the wrong extractor....:(
