I use win2k at home and have a laptop with dos 6.something. on it but I'm thinking on upgrading it to WinXX?

What would you guys install on laptop: P 133Mhz, 24MB ram and 1GB HD. Also it has a touchpad for mouse so I need drivers for this too (preferebly included in the OS. the portable is from Ascentia (AST). I know I asked this on FD a while ago, but I'm afraid of formatting. (because of the touchpad) and I want all the advice I can get

I'd probably use Win98 Second Edition on it. It definately won't run XP or maybe even 2k.

and on the title.... well... What is so "ouch" about it? I'm just describing myself

My main box uses WinXP Home, my older two boxes have Windows 95, and MS-DOS 3.2 running PM as the command interpreter.

    Mine:

    My desktop:

    WinXP Home
    SuSE 8(KDE)
    FreeBSD

    My Laptop:

    WinXP Home
    SuSE 8(KDE)

    My PDA:

    Palm OS 4

And for a comparison of the major OS'es of the day, based on a single, relevant, measurable benchmark (that being the hotness of the people assocciated therewith) we have (make sure to look at them in order:

In third place, Windows, with this entry:

In second place, FreeBSD, with this stunning daemonette:

And in first, Linux, with these five, count 'em, FIVE hotties:
