    Infocom Games

i've played zork 1-3 (2 repeatedly, haven't finished 3), hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, and wishbringer.

how many and what infocom games have any of you played?

    None .

I did read about one of the writers/scripters for the zork series, however, in a Game Design book. Seemed pretty interesting, but I am not that much of a creative geek, which seems a neccesity to get enjoyment out of a pure text game.

I've played zork and hhgttg (although I can't find that anywhere but one adams' website as an applet)...

Hictchhiker's Guide's cool, but too hard (and I've evenread the book!)

yeah, it's hard, but also fun

you can telnet to eldorado.elsewhere.org and sign in as zork, without a password, to play many of the infocom games (including the zorks and hhgttg.)

hhgttg is not that hard to find:
