    Question Connecting to COM port

    I have looked up ways of interfacing C to a COM port ump-teen times on search engines but I dont understand any of it! Has anyone got any tips or sample code? I an trying to interface my C program with a port in DOS. Thanks!

    The serial port is pretty straight forward, one of the easiest interfaces to program on the PC.
