Exclamation New Operating System Commander's Site Released!!

    Hello all!

If ANY of you remember this, Commander was the new operating system being released soon in late 2003. As I last left it, I was opening up a new web-site but had come across many problems with web-servers. So, I have moved to geocities.com. For any of you who wish to view the current progress or leave a comment or remark please go to

    http://www.geocities.com/systemsos/index.html

That site is temporarly not finished, but will be updated in a few days (By the on the 27th of july). So until then, leave some comments and have a great time.

For those who don't know what Commander is about, Commander is a new operating system, designed to be a command line based gui, hence the name Commander. Previously people have writen posts as to what they want to see in the new operating system. I have recorded all such posts and are thanking you all greatly for your support. At the moment the biggest reply was to have great security, firewalls, etc. So please, feel free to add a comment.

    Commander,

The website has been updated again. Only a few sections have not been filled in.

    So check it out. www.geocities.com/systemsos/index.html

    Enjoy

PS. Try running sof with xp and see how many errors you get using opengl. And think how much faster your computer will run when over 40% of resources isn't being use by M$ anymore. How many fps will you get then hey?

About this BSOD thing in XP, someone told me that, somewhere there is an option to allow you to see the BSDOs and they are just not displayed or something !!!??

Now what's with that and Is it correct info (i havent used XP to see that myself)

    Yes, that does happen

But i don't know of any option to turn it on. Yes, XP is the far greatest os from the mircosoft range because it has the best error handling. But my problem lies with why have error handling when you can just write a good code that doesn't crash? Most of the time, windows will attempt something it shouldn't, like storing memory, swaps it, swaps it back incorrectly with the previously stored memory and then has a hissy fit to you saying, your hardware has, or your system is, never 'windows' has.

MY query is what you want to see in a operating system that will work and not consume all of your resources. A operating system was never meant to use 64 mb of ram with 1gb of hardisk space.
