Deja vu is when you can clearly rember seeing or doing something before.

It occers when there is a change in the Matrix.

I understand it is a 'short circut' when storing the memory between your short term memory and long term memory. Instead of 'writting' to the short term memory it stores it in the long term memory.

So you think that you are drawing on a past memory of something, when it has just happened.

    Yeah, I heard something similar.
    Something along the lines of..

..the area of the brain responsible for processing and storing long term memories recieved the information sooner than the that area responsible for interperating visual cues. Once the brain was able to interperate what it was seeing it referenced the long term memory and found an entry already there..

which is basically what you said isn't it novacain

One interesting thing that I saw on TV recently was a documentry on dreams. This scientist was hypothesising that while asleep the brain is in a state of quantum flux, thus allowing the parts of the brain that are responsible for dreaming to actually exist in two places at once.. and thus experience events in another place and time.

    Weird huh?

    >>It occers when there is a change in the Matrix.

Correction: It occurs when there is a glitch in the matrix.
