I Surely my five minutes of fame came on the Brainteasers thread.

How do you know I'm not cynical, and bitter and twisted. I'd add the like Rick bit there but he doesn't seem to be from here.

And hurrah, 2 new people. I feel less exposed now, and somewhat less paranoid.

It's a necessary character trait for survival here. If you
stick around long enough, you will be.

    I'm neither here nor there.

He's right! When I toddled up to this site clutching my Barney doll 6 months ago (to borrow a line from Fight Club) I was a wad of cookie dough. Now, I grimly stare at my monitor everyday, kicking puppies and smal children if they get too close.

Actually, you don't have to be cynical, but it makes the board more fun

I never said I wasn't cynical, bitter and twisted.
I think I'd fit in that category more than any other, I'm certainly not cheerful, optomistic and enthusiastic (about too many things).

Anyway, must get back to trying to figure out the mysteries of Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Realtime Workshop, and xPC and why the damn people writing algorithms can't be doing it in something I can easily implement without haveing to learn how to use Ł20,000 worth of complex software and gawking incomprehensibly at its auto generated code.

That or program a new playlist for my DAP Jukebox/Nomad.

I thought that could wait until I got home, rather than doing it company time (and money).

I knew the answers to the 2 I already answered rather than working them out from scratch.

Damn amateur photographic memory, occasionally useful and brilliantly clear, but far too often blurred or over exposed or with my thumb in the way, or with the tops of peoples heads chopped off

There was the last one by Eshiq, which isn't really a test of logic or language as far as I can tell because it contains too many unknowns. My original guess would have been stone coders second guess.

I'm really trying to come up with a decent puzzle
