What took you so long, gamedev had this news up weeks ago, and I Posted it on Flashdaddee as soon as I saw it.

Anyways I am quite glad for it, BE should have made BEOS open source when it and not sell it to Palm. Now the project will not be droped, or cost monney.

i know i heard about it a while back, even before gamdev had it, i've been really really really busy lately... i posted here for anyone who didn't know already.

if what i hear is true, it has the absolute fastest GL renderer ever.
Though i have seen nothing to compare with LightWave's GL render, i haven't had time to really check out blender.

is it not for chopping and mixing and blending food then? a blender...Yes, I am sure it is

It's used for designing 3d graphics, for games.
