I'm running a 1.2 GHz AMD T-bird and it gets plenty hot (been running around 150 F lately with all this heat, but it still runs fine.
To the guy that keeps shutting down after about 6 hours, consider replacing your power supply. They can create a lot of heat and the wrong one will not pull air away from your processor correctly.
I myself need to get a better CPU fan. Mine just isn't keeping up anymore. I might also get a fan to suck the air out of my power supply too. I hear that does wonders.
HEY hey hey.....he is gonna buy the AMD....GOOD MAN
You are welcome by the way...![]()
As said, you will have NO bother.
Last poster was gonna increase his cooling-thats ok, but BASIC cooling is all mine needs.
Its all about getting the right set up.
Have fun my friend.
Such is life.
