Ignoring the legal aspects of emulating, could someone point me toward like a tutorial or something that would help my on making an emulator? Or do any of you have tips?
I am willing to learn asm if needed (I assume it is).
Thanks in advance

Here is an ongoing thread about emulators at allegro.cc. There are 3 links in that thread about emulating; I'm not sure of their content, though. Nor am I sure of how much help will that thread will offer (probably not a whole lot). Well, anyways you can check it out to see for yourself...it couldn't hurt.![]()
I also have a question but dont really want to start a new thread.
To create an emulator all I would need to know is all the opcodes of the target system, correct?
flashdaddee.com rocks!!!
muttski, that is all you would need to emulate the processor. To emulate other things, like say the sound, you would need to have the specs for sound, and so on.
Where can I get info on various systems?

Ummmmmm, any time now.
