    1 : 1.618

I just saw an interesting program on Discovery channel. This guy found that almost everything in the average supermodel body is done on the aforementioned ratio. i.e.:
Front incisor length : length of that other tooth next to it.
Length of first bone in finger : length of second bone in finger
Width of mouth : Width of nose

NOTE: the above ratios are actually backwards.

Anyway - so beacuse your noce makes several triangles, they made an isosceles trinagle with a ratio on the sides of 1 : 1.618.
If you bisect the legs and extend them to 180(5-1)(5) degree angles, it makes a regular pentagon. It's matches exactly with lines drawn from the tip of the nose, to the cheek bones, to each side of the chin when they'

It sure is a nice job, I just wonder how people come up with these ideas.

I also saw something about your attractiveness, where everything, including your eyes, nose and mouth are symmetrical, and people who had symmetrical faces were better looking than others, and Bill Clinton was an example of a good looking person, hehe.

Isn't that just known as the 'Golden Ratio', which has been around and studied for quite some time?
The egyptians knew about this all those years ago and built their pyramids with it.
For some reason, things that posses the quality of the having the 'golden ratio' are more appealing than those without.
I believe the statue 'David' was designed around this concept as well (I forget where I heard that though).

A random site about it from google:

Yeah - but the thing with the triangles is new. It was actually rediscovered in modern times, when they looked at that picutre of the naked guy with 4 legs and all these lines measured out - they found that every box had that ratio. They also did a segment on that - on why athletes are often good looking - if they're symmetrical, not only are they better looking, but their bodies move much smoother, and hence they can run faster.

This reminds me of the Movie "Pi"; guy stuck a drill into the side of his head at the end of the movie.

As I recall the ancient greeks used it as well for many ratio's. That's actually a really good TV program, I saw it on TLC a while ago. Even our newscasters and for example Clinton, their faces have many things that are in teh 1:1.618 ratio.

One man even developed a "mask" that was the perfect human face. And it actualy fits a huge percentage of "famous" and "popular" people.
