Unhappy my machine is in trouble, help~~~~~~

    Howdy~

I really didnt know how to tell the situation of my computer but it really met somthing troublesome. I'll show some details in order as follows:

    1. someday about 2 week ago, I bring some files home and it was checked by Norton to confirm no virus with it. and that day when the files was pasted to my compter, everything is OK.

    2. after 2 days, when I was playing a game, my keyboard suddenly out of control, and my computer let out the voice "beep beep......" when any key was pressed. Somthing even annoyed me is when I restared my computer, my system refused to go on and showed this line in the screen: keyboard error or no keyboard present, and it also cried "beep beep..." when any key was pressed. I had to shut down my machine.

    3. a several hours later, I stared my computer again, I was shocked that everything is OK when testing ! and this moment of happness make me forgot the past difficulties, so I continue working with my Dev C++ again, but after no more than one hour, the keys in my keyboard had lost its function a second time........................

    4. I tried everything I could in the days followed, including install a new system. but finally the same problem happen again and again, one of my friend who knows hardware much had checked it and have no idea either........

Now, guys, except your sympathy, what I need is your help, any suggetions would be extremely appreciated.

Is your keyboard usb or ps2? You could always try the other to see if maybe it is a bad port.

I'd probably put my money on the port, especially if you've tried switching out the keyboard. I'd try trading keyboards with someone who has a usb keyboard and try that out. It will probably work. When you say "beep beep" is that the post beep beeping or in your os when you type?

the first "beep" came when I was typing something with my DevC++, and when I restared my computer my system notice me no keyboard error or no keyboard present......................

And the next day all seems to be OK, so, I started my system. but it just worked for less than 1 hour the same problem comes again............
