AOL problems

I'm hesitant to even ask this question - I feel like a total idiot, but I'm totally lost...

I reinstalled AOL the other day with the rest of my programs after a total reformat. All works fine, except that I can't get on the web using it. It's not my account - I've tried from another computer and it worked fine... Is there some setting I should have changed, or what? I realize this is kinda vague, but I can give whatever info someone needs.

have you let IE setup the internet connection yet?
AOL may rely on it.
