Lots here that I forgot, but only a couple I feel I should kick myself for forgetting, most notably Clerks - what a great flick.

Also, I notice that I've been liking a buncha movies some people seem to hate...

Starship Troopers is cool as an action movie, but has nothing to do with the book... I laughed my ass of during Hudson Hawk... What's wrong with High Fidelity, ehsiq?

I also like that Dean added this:
*Star Trek (Movies From The Original Series Only)*
No kidding! I just don't get it - the show was cool, why are the movies so bad?

I pretty much agree with all of above.

I think the Back to the Future Trilogy is worth a mention.

Surely its even numbered Trek films which are worth watching, just look at my list and in depth reviews.

    Motion Picture: Bad
    Wrath of Khan: Good
    Search For Spock: Bad
    Voyage Home: Good
    Final Frontier: Bad
    Undiscovered Country: Good
    Generations: Bad
    First Contact: Good
    Insurrection: Bad

I also have to recommend that everyone goes and rents then watches Braindead. Then tremble in fear as its by the same director as the LOTR trilogy

saw a film called sole survivor a couple of weeks ago and that was superb.
That movie was actually another of Dean Koontz' books, I personally liked the book better, but that seems to most always be the case.

I can't beleive you guys forgot SpaceBalls !
Theatrical masterpeice I tell you. (provided you leave your brain at the door)

Ha sh#t Ive got that. Me and my friends went through a "buy the worst movie you can find" phase. The funniest part of the movie is at the end with the lawnmower. The director was Peter Jackson and he also did a flick with Kate Winslet (hubba hubba)

    Dean Koontz' books
I've kinda given up on his books - they're almost all the same

1)If hero is male and unmarried, he's gone through some deep personal tragedy
2)The major female is always, always, perfectly gorgeous, intelligent, funny, etc... (but has usually gone through some deep personal tragedy)
3)The villian is always a guy ('cept maybe in TickTock, but that's arguable)
4)Whatever personal tragedies the people went through, they usually leave visible scars (bullet wounds, etc.)

    and the worst thing:

    5) The ending is always (without fail) happy. I've read around 15 of his books, and the endings are always happy, no matter how improbable

I quite liked the book Midnight when I read it - was a while ago though....... Dont know if I'd feel the same if I read it now.

I was in my Stephen King phase then circa 1992 (I think..).

I used to like Clive Barker too. Wierd stories but the guy has a huge imagination. Damnation Game was good
