Auomating FTP in Windows 98 using Batch files?

Is there any way to write a batch file that will use the ftp client to upload a file to a server?

First of all, it might be best to do this with Java instead of batch.
Second, you'll need a command line FTP program unless you're starting from scratch. Third, HTML provides a nice feature where in a form, it aotomatically allows you to select a file for uploading.
