i am assuming that you went to a doc and he/she game you some eye drops. put the drops in your eyes and go to sleep for a while. when you wake up, eat something, put the drops and go to sleep again.
warning: this might result in some gain of weight.
that's no problem, my body-fat content is like 7%.
i think what you said is what i'll do..hehe.
What I am about to tell you is kind of sickening, once I had this conjuct........something, you just talked about, someone gave me the idea that to get rid of it I should put some honey on it so it would be cured........I did, a drop on each eye...closed my eyes and went to be while the stinging sensation subsided. This is one of the things that's happened to my eyes that stings the most, it got the job done. But kids don't try this at home :D go see a doctor and don't do what I did. It cured me though :D :p
warning: if you put honey in your eyes and sleep outdoors, watch out for ants.
No no no, I didn't fall sleep I just went to bed for a while, I think I rinsed my eyes after a while.........:D
did it hurt real bad or something?
Well I'll tell you what....it stung like a biatch!!!!
Thats nothing, I have genital warts inside my left nostril.Quote:

Best way to stop the itching:
Get some baby shampoo (the non stinging kind). Get a CLEAN washcloth. Wet the washcloth with some warm water and put some of the baby shampoo on said washcloth and get a good lather going.
Then wash your eye out paying special attention to the area where you eyelids meet your eye (conjunctiva). Works wonders for that itcy sensation.
I use it all the time since I smoke and wear contacts. (smoking + contacts = prone to conjunctivitis)
NOTE: Do not re-use the wash cloth, and do not let anyone else use it, as they will probably pick up your conjuctivitis, unless of course you want the to have it!
or you could be not so soft and let it get better all on its own? maybe? you think?
Chloramphenicol.
Why take something orally when you can just get the gel (name escapes me at the moment) and just put it in your eye.
[edit]isn't this mostly used by vets though? I'll have to check in on that...[/edit]
